The Escrow Officer is primarily responsible for performing tasks related to settlement operations in the closing of real estate transactions. Acts as liaison between all parties to the transaction including homebuyer, seller, mortgage, accounting and other areas within the Title & Escrow Process. Primary Job Responsibilities Handle all aspects of the settlement transactions including preparation and approval of Settlement Statements, preparation and coordination of deeds, verify accuracy of loan documents, insurance documentation, seller statements, and contract or sales agreement. Obtain signatures for closing transactions, explain all documents executed as needed, and facilitate questions/answers between parties to the transaction.
