Job Description: Mechanical Engineer Responsible for the design and 3D modeling of pumps, valves, pneumatic systems, blowers, and various other components. Responsible for equipment design and development. Prepares clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detail drawings in both 2D AutoCAD and 3D from rough or detailed sketches. The role involves a mix of new design and modifications to existing designs. Makes final sketches of proposed drawings, checking dimensions of parts, materials to be used, the relation of one part to another, and the relation of various parts to the whole structure or project. Will mentor junior engineers with the goal of eventually moving into a leadership position. Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings. Will be performing some FEA calculations as well.
