Winkels Electric was founded in 1956 by J.J. Winkels. In 1981 his son John Jr. and his wife Sheila purchased the company and are the present owners. Their son Tim M. and John's brothers Tim J. and Richard are employees. Mr. Winkels started in 1956 with two employees. The company has grown over the years and there are presently 25 employees. The types of service we offer has also grown from basic electrical installation and repair to include underground electrical construction, voice, data and video installations, sign installation and maintenance and fluorescent lamp and ballast recycling services. We continue to look for new ways to grow, expand our business and serve our customers. e realize that our customers and employees are our most valuable assets and we reflect this in our mission statement.
