The Womens Bureau has a mission of Empowering Women through advocacy, education, and economic empowerment. Since 1975 we have served as a unique voice for womens issues. We have been a support system and offered resources to women (and men) in Northeast Indiana. Many of our clients are part of the lower economic, underserved community. All of our support and resources are free of charge to those who seek help from the Bureau. The assistance we provide can help to end the cycle of trauma, violence and/or addiction, which can exist in families for generations. Our programs serve over 7,000 people in NE Indiana per year.
