Job Overview The CAD Technician/Designer will be a part of a team under the supervision of a Professional Civil Engineer. The CAD Techn will assist in planning production and some design using the latest AutoCAD Civil 3D software. Projects will include commercial, municipal/public works, utility substations, residential, and schools. Job Responsibilities Perform CAD modifications based on plan markups, sketched information, and verbal direction. Work collaboratively with Senior Project Managers, Project Managers (P.E.s), Project Engineers (EITs), and other Technicians to provide drafting and design support during planning, design, and construction for various types of projects. Must be able to successfully adhere to company CAD standards, files, details, etc. Prepare presentation materials and graphics for project development, meetings, and reports.
