Job Description Job Description Job Title: Host Supervisor: General Manager & Service Manager General Responsibilities: A guest’s first and last impressions of Reata Restaurant are made at the host stand. A host is responsible for immediately smiling and acknowledging each person in a pleasant and inviting manner as they enter the restaurant, and then thanking them upon leaving. The host helps control the flow of the restaurant through seating guests, answering the phone at the stand, validating parking tickets, assisting in retail and answering guest’s questions. Specific Duties: Report to work as scheduled, on time, well-groomed and dressed in proper uniform. Use Open Table software and follow seating protocol as guests arrive with reservations or without. Take and confirm reservations over the phone; be able to communicate any special shift notes related to the day of the reservation.
