USC - Well Service Shop Hand Job Summary The Shop Hand is responsible for ensuring tools are in excellent working order and rebuilds, cleans, and repairs tools. This position requires a strong knowledge of various production and workover tools, e.g. BOPE, rental equipment, test units pipe wranglers, performing test jobs, and power swivels. In addition, the Shop Hand must be experienced at using grinders, power saws, spray paint equipment, and various other heavy duty shop tools. Pay Range Depending on experience, salary range is $26.00 - $28.00 an hour. Internal Relationships Rig Crews, Rig Managers, Field Superintendent, District Manager External Relationships Contract support - Customers and 3rd party contractors Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities Works in a safe, healthy and environmentally protective manner and keeps a clean presentable work space Rebuilds and repairs many various blowout preventers, accumulators, valves, swivels, etc. Inspects tools and ensures quality
