EHR Certified Application Analyst II plans, analyzes, designs and modifies EHR (electronic health record) software applications, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the implementation of one or more software modules. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Being an EHR Certified Application Analyst II may be expected to write documentation describing program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EHR Certified Application Analyst II requires certification in one or more dedicated modules, such as Scheduling, Emergency Room, Patient Registration, or other medical specialty. Typically reports to a manager. The EHR Certified Application Analyst II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be an EHR Certified Application Analyst II typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
