Requirements and Responsibilities

Annuities Sales Director directs the strategic planning and execution of annuity sales programs to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and distribution effectiveness. Develops long-term sales strategies, channel partnerships, and business development initiatives aligned with organizational goals. Being an Annuities Sales Director oversees sales performance, forecasting, budgeting, and territory management to optimize profitability and operational results. Collaborates with executive leadership, product management, compliance, and marketing teams to enhance product positioning and competitive advantage. Additionally, Annuities Sales Director evaluates market conditions, customer trends, and regulatory developments to guide sales strategy and operational decisions. Leads and develops sales management teams while promoting a culture of accountability, customer focus, and regulatory compliance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Passing of FINRA SIE Exam. Typically reports to senior management. The Annuities Sales Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Annuities Sales Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
