Associate Chief Academic Officer
Associate Chief Academic Officer is responsible for implementing the institution's academic vision and priorities. Oversees one or several areas within academic affairs programs. Being an Associate Chief Academic Officer provides support in the development of student learning, academic programs, teaching, research, and related student success areas. Requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Chief Academic Officer typically reports to Chief Academic Officer. The Associate Chief Academic Officer manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Associate Chief Academic Officer typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
