Associate Dean of Nursing
Associate Dean of Nursing assists the Dean with the management of administrative functions of the College of Nursing. Collaborates with the Dean on planning strategic initiatives, curriculum development, institutional assessment, and faculty development. Being an Associate Dean of Nursing ensures compliance with accreditation, certification, and regulatory bodies. Requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Nursing typically reports to a dean. The Associate Dean of Nursing typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.
