Business Intelligence Architect V is responsible for the structural design and development of enterprise-wide business intelligence tools, systems, and applications. Evaluates data flows and structures to determine optimal business intelligence tools, ensuring adaptability to existing systems and scalability for future needs. Being a Business Intelligence Architect V monitors system performance and conducts routine testing to identify bottlenecks, resolve technical issues, and adapt architecture to new business needs or data pipelines. Documents architectural design, configurations, processes, and issues to guide future maintenance and development. Additionally, Business Intelligence Architect V defines data collection, storage, and retrieval methods that ensure performance, security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Business Intelligence Architect V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
