Requirements and Responsibilities

Capture Management Senior Manager manages and implements an organization's capture strategy to identify competitive advantages and secure contracts for an organization. Tracks and manages multiple capture opportunities, ensuring timely action and resource allocation. Being a Capture Management Senior Manager reviews government and commercial procurement databases to prioritize capture opportunities and gather RFP requirements. Assesses the feasibility of pursuing an opportunity based on factors such as budget, scope, competition, and customer requirements and objectives. Additionally, Capture Management Senior Manager implements capture strategies to analyze customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends to increase the likelihood of winning contracts. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Capture Management Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Capture Management Senior Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.
