Requirements and Responsibilities

Casino Soft Count Clerk counts money, prepares deposits, and maintains accurate records of all transactions at casino tables. Compares and verifies final soft count totals with computer totals. Being a Casino Soft Count Clerk may require a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Casino Soft Count Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
