Requirements and Responsibilities

Channel Marketing Senior Manager manages the third-party or channel marketing activities of a company's products and services. Implements channel-specific marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and awareness and reach new markets. Being a Channel Marketing Senior Manager analyzes sales and marketing metrics to determine the effectiveness of marketing channels, measure the return on investment (ROI), and adjust or improve the marketing strategy. Guides and oversees the research of competitor activities, industry trends, and consumer behaviors to identify joint partner or channel opportunities. Additionally, Channel Marketing Senior Manager administers materials to assist channel partners with onboarding, training, and product support to develop effective relationships and align marketing efforts. Evaluates marketing proposals and monitors and manages the allocated channel marketing budget. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Channel Marketing Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Channel Marketing Senior Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
