Requirements and Responsibilities

Chief Financial Planning and Analysis Executive provides strategic oversight and leadership to an organization's financial planning and analysis function to evaluate business performance and plan investment, budgeting, and financial strategies. Promotes financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting frameworks to ensure efficient financial operations and organizational alignment. Being a Chief Financial Planning and Analysis Executive reviews financial statements, reports, and models to develop high-level business insights, create financial projections, and advise cost management and investment decisions. Audits policies and procedures to ensure all financial analysis, planning, and reporting activities meet industry standards and regulatory compliance. Additionally, Chief Financial Planning and Analysis Executive collaborates with business leaders to evaluate and plan organizational projects and develop financial reports or statements. May require an advanced degree. Typically reports to Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Responsible for the development of functional or business unit strategy for the entire organization. Defines corporate vision and strategy establishes company direction and focus. Executes multiple high impact initiatives to achieve overall corporate goals.
