Requirements and Responsibilities

Corporate Finance Manager manages the team responsible for gathering and interpreting financial data to assist in corporate financial decisions. Uses data analysis to identify new investment, merger, or acquisition opportunities for the organization. Being a Corporate Finance Manager focuses on forecasting funding requirements, structuring financing solutions, and managing risk. Manages the organization's cash portfolio to ensure efficient access to capital while optimizing liquidity. Additionally, Corporate Finance Manager participates in negotiations with principals and others. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Finance Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Corporate Finance Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
