Requirements and Responsibilities

Fast Food Shift Supervisor supervises fast food workers during an assigned shift. Schedules employees based on anticipated staffing needs and ensures that workers are trained on proper food handling practices, safety, and cash handling procedures. Being a Fast Food Shift Supervisor addresses customer complaints and prepares documentation for cash and inventory reporting. May be responsible for restaurant opening and/or closing. Additionally, Fast Food Shift Supervisor requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Fast Food Shift Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Fast Food Shift Supervisor typically requires 1-2 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.
