Requirements and Responsibilities

Foreclosure Specialist is responsible for monitoring and managing the foreclosure process. Tracks deadlines and progress. Being a Foreclosure Specialist prepares and organizes foreclosure documents, title records, and other required paperwork. Works with attorneys and investors to resolve issues that may arise within the foreclosure process. Additionally, Foreclosure Specialist ensures all actions are compliant with federal, state, investor, and company guidelines. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Foreclosure Specialist work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Foreclosure Specialist typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
