Requirements and Responsibilities

HR Service Center Director directs HR service center operations. Designs policies and procedures for service center representatives that respond to employee inquiries regarding benefit programs, pay, and human resources policies. Being an HR Service Center Director assists with the development and streamlining of standards and processes to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely service delivery. Coordinates resources and monitors expenditures to ensure budget adherence. Additionally, HR Service Center Director maintains a strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws and educates stakeholders. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The HR Service Center Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an HR Service Center Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
