Being an Insurance Claims Service Representative I gathers and updates claim and customer information accurately within the claims system. Documents all interactions and follow-up actions according to established procedures. Additionally, Insurance Claims Service Representative I ensures compliance with company policies, service standards, and regulatory requirements. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Insurance Claims Service Representative I works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
