Requirements and Responsibilities

Insurance Sales Agent II sells insurance products and services to individuals and businesses by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate coverage options. Develops and maintains relationships with prospective and existing clients through networking, referrals, and ongoing customer support activities. Being an Insurance Sales Agent II explains policy features, coverage limitations, pricing, and regulatory requirements to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions. Processes applications, renewals, policy changes, and claims-related inquiries in accordance with company procedures and compliance standards. Additionally, Insurance Sales Agent II monitors market conditions and competitor offerings to identify sales opportunities and support business growth objectives. Maintains accurate customer records and sales activity documentation using customer relationship management systems and sales tools. Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires NIPR State Licensure. Typically reports to a manager. The Insurance Sales Agent II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
