Requirements and Responsibilities

Intellectual Property Attorney II is responsible for advising clients and organizations on the laws that govern the creation, use, and ownership of intellectual property. Prepares and files patent and/or trademark documents, licensing agreements, service agreements, copyrights, transfer agreements, and other contracts with the relevant government agencies. Being an Intellectual Property Attorney II requires a JD. Requires admittance to a state bar. Additionally, Intellectual Property Attorney II typically reports to a manager. The Intellectual Property Attorney II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
