Requirements and Responsibilities

Investor Relations Senior Manager manages communication activities between an organization and financial stakeholders. Resolves complex investor inquiries and ensures communications are compliant, enhances the company's reputation, and promotes investor confidence. Being an Investor Relations Senior Manager supports investor outreach initiatives to strengthen relationships, promote engagement, and facilitate capital raising. Plans and prepares shareholder documents and materials for quarterly reporting, investor meetings, and conferences. Additionally, Investor Relations Senior Manager implements policies and procedures to ensure investor communications and reporting comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Investor Relations Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Investor Relations Senior Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
