Requirements and Responsibilities

Lending Officer II is responsible for evaluating, approving, and managing loans for an assigned market or geographic area. Develops a pipeline of customers through referrals, inquiries, and outreach. Being a Lending Officer II evaluates loan applications by reviewing credit history, income statements, and conducting a risk analysis. Structures loan proposals and completes required documentation in accordance with applicable regulations and organizational policies. Additionally, Lending Officer II may manage a portfolio of existing loans, including reviewing financial reporting and monitoring compliance with loan terms. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Lending Officer II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be a Lending Officer II typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
