Requirements and Responsibilities

Lending Officer III oversees lending activity for a market vertical or geographic area. Responsible for approving complex loans and assisting lending teams with structuring and pricing of larger loans. Being a Lending Officer III assess risk, develops policies and guidelines for lenders. Monitors overall loan portfolio performance and seeks resolution of issues. Additionally, Lending Officer III ensures adherence to bank credit policies and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Lending Officer III manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Lending Officer III typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.
