Requirements and Responsibilities

Loan Processing Assistant Manager assists with managing loan processing operations to ensure efficient handling of loan applications and compliance with lending policies and regulatory standards. Implements procedures that govern document verification, file preparation, and workflow management across the loan processing function. Being a Loan Processing Assistant Manager monitors and supports loan processing supervisors and staff by establishing performance goals, monitoring productivity, and maintaining service quality. Collaborates with underwriting, credit, and compliance teams to streamline processes and address regulatory or documentation requirements. Additionally, Loan Processing Assistant Manager analyzes processing performance metrics and implements improvements to enhance turnaround times, accuracy, and borrower satisfaction. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Loan Processing Assistant Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Loan Processing Assistant Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
