Requirements and Responsibilities

Loan Servicing Manager manages loan servicing operations to ensure accurate administration of loan portfolios and compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Develops and implements policies, procedures, and controls governing payment processing, escrow management, loan adjustments, and borrower communications. Being a Loan Servicing Manager monitors and supports loan servicing supervisors and staff by establishing performance goals, monitoring productivity, and ensuring service quality. Collaborates with risk, compliance, and finance teams to address regulatory changes and maintain adherence to lending regulations. Additionally, Loan Servicing Manager analyzes servicing performance metrics and implements process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Loan Servicing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Loan Servicing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
