Requirements and Responsibilities

Loan Servicing Supervisor supervises daily loan servicing operations to ensure accurate processing of loan transactions and compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Oversees a team of loan servicing clerks by assigning tasks, monitoring workloads, and reviewing completed work for accuracy and timeliness. Being a Loan Servicing Supervisor resolves complex loan account issues, including payment discrepancies, escrow adjustments, and borrower inquiries. Ensures proper maintenance of loan records and adherence to servicing procedures and regulatory requirements. Additionally, Loan Servicing Supervisor trains staff on servicing systems, policies, and customer service standards while identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Loan Servicing Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Loan Servicing Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.
