Requirements and Responsibilities

Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Specialist IV is responsible for the timely and efficient flow of materials required to meet production schedules and customer demand. Develops, monitors, and maintains material requirement planning (MRP) systems to plan for demand, manage inventory levels, and coordinate procurement and production activities. Being a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Specialist IV analyzes data to forecast material needs and collaborates with suppliers, production, and supply chain teams to ensure on-time delivery. May support process improvements, system accuracy, and planning efficiency to enhance overall supply chain reliability and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Specialist IV requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Specialist IV work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters.
