Merchant Chargeback Associate
Merchant Chargeback Associate is responsible for investigating and reversing credit card charges disputed by the account holder. Acts as a liaison between the merchant, bank, and cardholder. Being a Merchant Chargeback Associate tracks chargebacks and refers fraudulent activity to the appropriate department. May process refunds or reverse charges to cardholder. Additionally, Merchant Chargeback Associate requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Merchant Chargeback Associate works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Merchant Chargeback Associate typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
