Requirements and Responsibilities

Merchant Services Sales Manager manages the team responsible for selling merchant card services to customers. Designs, implements, and recommends sales programs and strategies for the merchant card services card department. Being a Merchant Services Sales Manager evaluates and implements appropriate new card sales techniques to increase sales volume. May recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Additionally, Merchant Services Sales Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Merchant Services Sales Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.
