Being a Mortgage Collector II explains options like forbearance or loan modification and/or negotiates payment plans to bring the account current. Adheres to pre-established guidelines when determining appropriate collection remedy. Additionally, Mortgage Collector II typically handles accounts in early stages of delinquency. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Mortgage Collector II works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Mortgage Collector II typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
