Requirements and Responsibilities

Pharmacokinetics Scientist II studies how drugs are absorbed, distributed, metabolized, and excreted (ADME) in the body to optimize dosing, safety, and effectiveness. Responsible for the analysis, interpretation, and reporting of experimental findings. Being a Pharmacokinetics Scientist II uses data analysis and modeling to guide drug development from preclinical stages through clinical trials and regulatory submissions. Maintains substantial knowledge of pharmacokinetics best practices and theories. Additionally, Pharmacokinetics Scientist II requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Pharmacokinetics Scientist II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be a Pharmacokinetics Scientist II typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
