Pharmacology Senior Manager
Pharmacology Senior Manager leads and manages a team of pharmacologists who study the effects of drugs, chemicals, and other substances on humans, animals, and/or plants. Oversees the planning, design, execution, analysis, and reporting of pharmacology experiments and findings. Being a Pharmacology Senior Manager may function as the subject matter expert on cross-functional projects. Maintains substantial knowledge of pharmacology best practices and theories. Additionally, Pharmacology Senior Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Pharmacology Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Pharmacology Senior Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
