Requirements and Responsibilities

Photo Editor, Senior researches, plans, and edits photography content for an organization. Works with creators, designers, writers, and/or editors to ensure content is selected and edited in a manner cohesive with the tone, content, and objective of the project. Being a Photo Editor, Senior uses editing tools to process and retouch photos, coordinates the licensing of stock photography, and adheres to project budgets. Coordinates and adheres to a standard workflow including research, submission, content selection, editing, and publishing. Additionally, Photo Editor, Senior typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Photo Editor, Senior work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
