Requirements and Responsibilities

Physical Therapy Attendant assist in preparation of patients for treatment under the direction of physical therapists. May be responsible for operation and maintenance of equipment. Being a Physical Therapy Attendant prepares and sanitizes treatment room for the patients. Helps maintain the treatment records of the client and perform various clerical duties. Additionally, Physical Therapy Attendant greets the patients and schedules appointments. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Physical Therapy Attendant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
