Requirements and Responsibilities

Product Development Analyst V supports the product lifecycle management of existing products and new product development projects. Researches and monitors competitors' products and client feedback for new ideas for products and service offerings. Being a Product Development Analyst V follows industry developments to identify potential new product opportunities and pricing models. Collaborates with internal teams to evaluate designs for technical feasibility, identify production requirements, and develop marketing plans and roadmap timelines. Additionally, Product Development Analyst V may evaluate product packaging, labeling, and promotional literature designs for compliance with product and safety specifications and regulatory guidelines. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Product Development Analyst V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. To be a Product Development Analyst V typically requires 10+ years of related experience.
