Requirements and Responsibilities

Product Quality Senior Manager manages product quality control and inspection activities for a manufacturing facility. Develops quality control policies, procedures, and inspection plans across manufacturing operations. Being a Product Quality Senior Manager executes product quality improvement initiatives, strategies, and processes to meet quality goals and ensure alignment with business objectives. Analyzes quality performance metrics, audit findings, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, Product Quality Senior Manager partners with manufacturing, engineering, and supplier quality teams to resolve complex quality issues and reduce defects. Ensures compliance with applicable quality systems such as ISO, GMP, or industry-specific standards. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Product Quality Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Product Quality Senior Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
