Product Quality Systems Senior Supervisor supervises product quality assurance processes and programs within manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to established specifications and regulatory standards. Oversees the daily monitoring of production controls, quality processes, and testing procedures to ensure consistent product quality and reduce losses to defects. Being a Product Quality Systems Senior Supervisor coordinates root cause investigations and ensures timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Trains and mentors quality analysts and technicians on quality systems, continuous improvement tools, and compliance requirements. Additionally, Product Quality Systems Senior Supervisor reviews quality data and audit findings to identify trends and recommend process enhancements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Product Quality Systems Senior Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Product Quality Systems Senior Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
