Product Quality Systems Technician I supports the coordination and implementation of product quality assurance processes, systems, and controls. Responsible for monitoring daily workflows, focusing on the prevention and containment of systemic product quality issues. Being a Product Quality Systems Technician I collaborates with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to deploy product quality assurance initiatives and process changes. Conducts routine process audits to ensure product quality assurance policies are in use and effective. Additionally, Product Quality Systems Technician I documents failures or nonconformance and collects samples, photos, and pertinent data for root cause analysis. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Product Quality Systems Technician I works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
