Requirements and Responsibilities

Project Engineering Technician I supports engineers in the planning, development, and execution of technical projects. Assists with design reviews, performs routine calculations, and helps prepare drawings, specifications, and documentation. Being a Project Engineering Technician I monitors project progress, tracks technical data, and ensures tasks are completed according to schedule and standards. May also assist in identifying and reporting issues related to materials, production, or testing. Additionally, Project Engineering Technician I typically requires an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Project Engineering Technician I works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
