Provider Onboarding Specialist II is responsible for managing the onboarding and integration of new healthcare providers (doctors, clinicians, facilities) into an insurance network or health system. Acts as the primary liaison, coordinating credentialing, contracting, and compliance to ensure providers can legally and efficiently begin treating patients and billing for services. Being a Provider Onboarding Specialist II collects and verifies licenses, certifications, and other required information to ensure compliance with state regulations and payer requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Provider Onboarding Specialist II typically reports to a manager. The Provider Onboarding Specialist II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
