Requirements and Responsibilities

Reinsurance Administrator II is responsible for evaluating and managing the risk transferred from primary insurance companies to reinsurance companies. Assesses risk exposure and determines the appropriate reinsurance strategy. Being a Reinsurance Administrator II analyzes data, negotiates contracts, and ensures regulatory compliance. Processes complex reinsurance claims, calculates premiums, and prepares financial reports. Additionally, Reinsurance Administrator II requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Reinsurance Administrator II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
