Requirements and Responsibilities

Res. Hall Supervisor (No Room, Board) oversees all activities of a student residence hall. Responsible for student housing assignment, maintenance of facilities, and safety of residents. Being a Res. Hall Supervisor (No Room, Board) manages supply inventory and housekeeping functions. Ensures student residents follow the college/university conduct policies and takes appropriate disciplinary actions when rules are broken. Additionally, Res. Hall Supervisor (No Room, Board) room and board in the residence hall are not included in the terms of employment. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Res. Hall Supervisor (No Room, Board) supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Res. Hall Supervisor (No Room, Board) typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
