Requirements and Responsibilities

Scrum Product Owner IV translates and communicates the product vision to Agile development teams utilizing the Scrum framework. Collaborates with stakeholders to define product requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria and to produce a clearly defined backlog. Being a Scrum Product Owner IV implements solutions and prioritizes requirements to deliver the best value to the customer and the business. Acts as a bridge between stakeholders and development teams to understand roadblocks and specifications and recommend actionable solutions. Additionally, Scrum Product Owner IV gathers, records, and organizes feedback to help improve processes, workflow, or product development. Oversees development to ensure requirements are implemented effectively within the required timelines. Responsible for project budget oversight and adherence. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO). Typically reports to a manager. The Scrum Product Owner IV work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. To be a Scrum Product Owner IV typically requires 7+ years of related experience.
