Requirements and Responsibilities

Shopper Marketing Director leads the development and execution of integrated retail marketing strategies to drive consumer engagement, accelerate sales growth, and expand market share across channels. Sets the vision for consumer insights, overseeing research on shopper behavior, brand performance, and campaign effectiveness to inform high-impact decisions. Being a Shopper Marketing Director translates data-driven insights into packaging design, in-store display, and advertising campaigns that align with overall brand strategy. Partners with senior cross-functional leaders to optimize product positioning and enhance long-term brand loyalty. Additionally, Shopper Marketing Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Shopper Marketing Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Shopper Marketing Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
