Requirements and Responsibilities

Signal & Image Processing Engineer IV designs, develops, and tests mathematical algorithms used to analyze and process signal and imagery data. Applies signal and image processing principles and mathematical methods to develop image capture systems. Being a Signal & Image Processing Engineer IV develops the concepts, requirements, architecture, prototypes, algorithms, and models for systems. Performs extensive testing and validation of designs using simulation and modeling software and tools. Additionally, Signal & Image Processing Engineer IV conducts research and studies to create innovative approaches for solutions and products. Typically requires a master's degree in electrical engineering, mathematics, computer science, or related discipline. Typically reports to a manager.
