Requirements and Responsibilities

Sustainable Sourcing Manager develops, manages, monitors, and promotes responsible sourcing practices. Implements end-to-end supplier due diligence processes to promote responsible sourcing practices. Being a Sustainable Sourcing Manager identifies vendors and suppliers that exhibit responsible practices and develop relationships. Builds data and metrics to inform and support responsible vendor selection and procurement decisions. Additionally, Sustainable Sourcing Manager requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Sustainable Sourcing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Sustainable Sourcing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
