Requirements and Responsibilities

SVP of ESG Program oversees the ESG function and sets the strategic vision and governance to advance sustainability, ethical business conduct, and long-term value creation. Establishes and evolves ESG policies, standards, and operating frameworks aligned with global regulations and corporate priorities. Being an SVP of ESG Program drives ESG data integrity, reporting, and assurance to enable transparency, informed decision-making, and accountability across the organization. Partners with executive leadership, business units, and external stakeholders to embed responsible practices, anticipate emerging risks and opportunities, and elevate corporate reputation and performance. Additionally, SVP of ESG Program requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The SVP of ESG Program manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes/implements overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. To be an SVP of ESG Program typically requires 10+ years of progressive leadership experience. Has extensive knowledge of the overall departmental function.
